I've got a old keg that has a few spots, like rust stains inside on the bottom. It had been stored in the attic with no lid on and might have gotten some salt water in it. I've scrubbed it a few times with various cleaners but the spots are still there.
Question is, can I use this or is there another substance I can use to remove these stains?

Try DBC drainboard cleaner or caustic soda (this is nasty dangerous stuff, but all the pros use it for cleaning in place).

try coca cola, the coke company uses it to clean engines and stuff. i've heard that it cleans rust out too! just pours a can in there scrub with a brillo pad and let it sit for 2 days, then clean! should be good to go.
