Hey Guys,
I'd love to get some feedback on my future set-up as I am moving into a small apartment and need to maximize the efficiency of my process and equipment. I'd like to see if anyone is using this process or similar. I imagine it wouldn't save much on storage space as you would still require many of the same AG tools.
Equipment
2 5 Gallon Kettles
1 - 6.5 Gallon Plastic Bucket (fermentor)
1 25 copper wort chiller
1 swamp cooler
1 bottling bucket (along w/ bottling tools)
1 25 G storage bin (bulk grain storage)
1 Grain Mill w/ 5G Bucket
4 cases bottles
Assumptions
Style: BIAB
Target Volume(fermentor): ~ 6 Gallons
Max Mash-in water volume: 3.25 Gallon
Max Grain Volume (by pound) ~ 6lbs/mash
Max OG w/ Grain (@85% efficiency) : 1.065
Max Boil size for 5 G Kettle: 3.75
Boil-off (60min): ~.5 G
Wort loss/Hop absorption: ~.25G
