I was lucky enough to get an older Sanke with a spigot attached but the spigot is really old and gnarly looking and it leaks a lot and I would like to replace it. I have tried unscrewing the bastard but to no avail. Would a dremel be my best bet to get this thing off and any tips?

Before you do anything, be sure you de-pressurize it. Also, lost a pic so we know what you're talking about. Sankeys generally don't have spigots so it's difficult to get a sense of what you're dealing with.

really? i figured he just called the stem something different. ahh...re-reading it, you're right. i probably misunderstood.

if that's the case, pictures are required, as keggles are custom built and can all be made differently.
