Hello All,

I just brewed and sampled my first batch ever. It is a nice amber ale, brewed from an amber malt extract, hallertau and tetnang hop pellets. Pretty basic beginner pack, but I was extremely impressed with the outcome. However, I am already looking to brew this beer again, but this time add some depth to it. I am particularly interested in adding a caramel malt (Caramel 60?), as well as some spices. I am just interested in hearing your suggestions for a couple of simple spices that could really add to the flavor of my beer. Cheers!

Can try pumpkin spice, I've heard pumpkin amber ales are very tastly, although I've in all honestly never tried one.
