I have fermented 1 gallon of apfelwein and put away to clear and mature. Before doing so i added half a cinnamon stick and 2 schwartz mulled wine sachets to hopefully give a mild hint of spice for christmas 2015. I was wandering if anybody else had tried a variant of this or has an a opinion on my method I would be interested to know. The schwartz sachets instuct on using 1 to s bottle of red wine so i am assuming using 2 to s gallon would only give a hint of spice as desired.
