Speidel 60L Plastic fermenter

Been using these for a while. Since i do 10 gallon batches on most brew days I think they are a pretty good deal for the money.

I finally got around to doing a review on it.

Very informative review, thanks. I like the strap mod.

I also have a 60 l Speidel as well a 30 l. One mod that I did was to take a black sharpie to the airlock to highlight the "Fullhohe" (fill line) so that I fill the airlock to the proper level. I also added gallon marks to the outside so I know approximate how many gallons that I am fermenting. When I transferred and washed the Speidel, I found that leaving the lid off dissipates the fermented beer smell much quicker.

Those are both good ideas I wound up putting some marks on it at 5 gallons 10 and 11 gallons as well thanks for watching Cheers!
