Hello Bru,

Any chance you would be able share your Rhizome source, I am looking to acquire day neutral varieties like this one but supplier information is scarce.

Cheers

Randy

Thanks Bru...received PM and have sent email to Linda as suggested:) Now I will wait for reply and hopefully she is able to assist:) Do you have any growing specs for these hops such as slope grade tolerances, soil requirements, temperature ranges, etc... would be very helpful for my land assessment:)

Thanks Again for the help and would love to hear your opinion on the quality/characteristics of these hops...as you planted a few years ago now.

Cheers

I don't know man. Wild Yugoslavian males can be trouble.

;-)

LOL
I didn't plant rhizomes but Ive used the pellets.
I can't say I was overly impressed with the flavour and aroma. I'd suggest using it in a bittering role at 60mins only but thats just my opinion.

Some of our smaller brewers tend to boil Southern Promise for NO more than 30min....
SA Hop Farms also have a pre-isomerized peller (PIH). Personally I do not like it... The bitterness it provides is harsh & acrid with a "chemical" taste...

PM'd - available from SAB Hop Farms in South Africa :
SAB Hop Farms George. Tel. (044) 802-8420. Fax. 086 646-7230. Ask for Gerrie Brits or. Linda Pretorius [email protected].
SAB farms will no longer sale their Southern Promise Rhizomes. I have a small hop farm and would like to give some of the day neutral varieties a shot. Does anybody have any other sources to get these rhizomes?
