Dear beer-lovers,

Today I opened a thread in the 'equipment/sanitation' section but soon we realized it would be a bitter fit to post a thread on this forum. So, let me first copy-paste some details from my previous post:

"Recently I have been fascinated and inspired by this whole homebrewing world and (after reading John Palmer's book) would like to order a good starter kit. After doing some research, I ended up with this kit that can either be bought at their own website or via Amazon. However, I'm struggling with shipment to my address because the supplier does not ship outside the US". @mongoose33 already provided me with another kit at HomeBeer but they add $130 shipping costs.

Is there any way I can (cheaply) circumvent this chain and get it delivered to my home here in The Netherlands? Or, are there good European equivalents of HomeBeer & NB (e.g. in the UK)?

Since I'm very new to this whole brewing process - every recommendation, feedback or advice is more than welcome. I'm eager to learn more about homebrewing!

I have personally used TheMaltMiller UK, BrewUK and TheHomeBrewShop UK and I live in Romania.

Closer to you, there is Browland, pointed out above, and these ones:

https://homebrewshop.be/en/ ( I've used it and have great variety of equipment, malts, hops, yeast, etc. )
https://www.brouwmarkt.nl/ ( never used them, but they have a great selection of supplies )
https://brauen.de/
https://www.hobbybrauerversand.de/

I second brouwland. It’s a great source online. They’ve also got a huge physical storefront just across the border in Belgium, close if you are in Brabant or Limburg.

I was going to mention sources in hobbybrauer.de. I joined that forum when I lived in Germany.

Thank you all for your support. I will check every site that has been mentioned and pretty sure I'll be able to find a nice starter kit!
