The brews these days--they've just been boring.

The Recipe-Solstice Day IPA

7# Rahr Premium Pilsner (2-Row)
4# Maris Otter
1# Honey Malt
1# Clover Honey

1oz. Columbus (Boil)
1oz. Centennial (Aroma)
1oz. Athenum (Aroma)

Decent starter (2L) of Wyeast 1056.

Mash in @164. Protien Rest @150 for 75 mins. (Where it is now.)
Will fly sparge @ 168. Guessing OG will come in somewhere around 10.56-60. If I'm brewing to style, the ABV will be a tad high, but hey--it's summertime.

Tossing in the Centennial hops with just five minutes or so left in the boil. I think all of the honey should dry it out and give me a focus on the hops. That said--I'm thinking about something else...lemon peel? Maybe even tossing some rosemary and basil in the secondary? What do you think? This is going to be my summertime magnum opus, such as it will be. That said, I want to do something different.

Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions. I've been a lurker for years, and have really enjoyed all of the great discussions here.
