Designing great beers....

I posted something awhile back and this book came up a few times, hope I can't learn more, been following to many
AHS kits....while they are great kits and easy to follow, I think everybody is with me in wanting to create their own recipe.

Anybody create any really good recipes after reading this book?

The book is a good read even if some of the information is a bit dated (brewers are always discovering new stuff and better understanding processes). What it really did for me was get me to critically think about my recipe and what exactly I wanted to get out of the beer I was making rather than tossing a bunch of cool sounding ingredients together and seeing what happens. It also helped me understand some more of the math behind the designing of the beer.
