What did you buy? I'm in the market for a grain mill too but don't want much to spend much. Let us know how yours works out.

I bought a crankandstein, works great. Yes it does save to buy your base malt in bulk. I got a 55 pound bag for $32 at my LHBS. I also went back to dry yeast and my costs are around $6 a case and the beer is just as good as when I used liquid yeast.

I thought that was "convincormented"... a perfectly cromulent word.

grain mills are cool, just don't get your fingers caught in the rollers.
