Snapped shoots

Hi all,

I'm growing hops for the first time this year and could do with some advice...

I planted the rhizomes yesterday with manure and compost. To cut a long story short, my dog dug them up and all of the little purple/green shoots have now snapped off!

Will these grow back or is it game over for that rhizome??

I'm guessing just put it back in the ground? This is what I've done..

lol! Well, yeah, they're not going to come back sitting on the lawn

Will let them just get on with it and wait for the new shoots to appear
