Hey All!

I have been doing a lot of searching for a clone of this brew for extract with very little luck. Does anyone have a recipe that worked well for them??

Thanks in advance!

Man, I would LOVE this as well. Extract recipe for Smutty Brown would be the best thing to happen to me in a while. This is one of my favorite beers of all time.

I found one on here from a few years back

Smuttynose Brewing Old Brown Dog Ale Clone

To summarize for 5 gallons:

9.0 lbs 2-row (sub 6.5 lbs LME)
1.0 lbs Munich
0.5 lbs Crystal 60L
0.5 lbs Chocolate Malt

0.5 oz Cascade @ 45 min
0.5 oz Willamette @ 15 min

S-05 or Nottingham yeast

I plugged this into Beersmith and got:
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.013
IBU: 15 SRM: 23
