Literally. As I started replacing some of my silicone tubing on my rig, the bubbled up rubber on all my ball valve handles caught my eye. I don't have all that much heat coming around my vessels but over the course of 25 batches or so, that rubber handle dip starts looking like BBQ.

A 4" piece of 1/2" silicone tube slid over the handle is the tits. Bonus.. it barely gets hot and you can operate it without gloves.

Well, I'm at least trying them. I haven't brewed on them yet though.
I got some overpriced ones from McMaster recently and they've been pretty great. Certainly tougher to connect than sleeve-locks, but still doable one-handed. And being able to thoroughly clean them inside and out is always a plus.
