Does anyone have a good recipe for a smoked ESB or Pale Ale? I live in vt and the 3 Needs bar and brewery used to brew one, it was great, but they have stopped brewing for a while in their move to a new location.

I miss it and want to try my own. Has anyone brewed one before?
 
I brewed one about a 6 weeks ago and I have it bottled up. Its been in bottles for about 3 weeks now and I just threw one in the fridge today at lunchtime. I will let you know how it is.

I can tell you this much, I used 3lbs in my grain bill and I think it might have been overkill. But I will definitely tag this thread and get back to you.
