Tasting Notes
Smooth malty quaffable
This is not my recipe but worthy of a share.I searched the web for a Smithwick's clone and found this..It is a fantastic quaffable easy brewing and drinking beer.I used US04 at 64 deg and subbed the 2 row for Marris Otter. Its a doable 14 day grain to glass kegging but 3 weeks to a month will smooth it out...If you like Smithwick's you'll like this beer

I just brewed this as listed, and love it!! Love a good Smithwick's type Irish ale. Mine looks very much like the picture above. Been brewing since 2004 and had been lookinf for just a recipie as this. If you are looking for nice Irish drinker, you just found it.

Only difference was I adjusted my adjunct grains to 2.6 oz instead of the listed 2.4 oz. Only difference I see, is mine is just a tad darker, but not by much. Give it a try, you will be glad you did!!

Thanks to JohnnyRotten for a great recipie!! CHEERS!!!!
