I always secondary for dry hop. No?

I've dry hopped in primary, depends on what type of hops, whole cone I would put in secondary and rack on top of them. Pellets I just pour into the fermenter

Don't know about dry dog, but wet dog is often mistaken for "up dog".

Whole cone is a whole hop, not just the leaves but the whole part of it. I would still dry hop in a primary with hop leaves, and the pellet is the processed hops that look like little pellets
