Its been a while on the bottles.. i forgot. What were the best bottles to bottel skeeter pee/beer in? Its the small neck ones right? Like fat tire bottles?

Meaning....what bottles will the capers work on the best.

I picked up 3 beer capers for 10.00 at a yard sale. Thinking I could use these to bottle up skeeter pee with.

I find the best bottles, at least with my capper, are traditional longneck non-twist-offs of heavier glass, such as Sam Adams, Sweetwater ... I've had a few necks break using what seems like thinner glass - Stella Aetois, for one....really, pretty much any pop-off cap bottle should work just fine, for the most part...I have empties of many dozens of different brews, only occasionally having a neck break, and never had a problem with caps holding a seal

Thanks for reply. Did get one fast enough so posted over with the grain heads.... POOF issue resolved. Said the same as you. POP TOPS are the only way to go....

I found 3 (three) beench capers at a yard sale. They wanted $10 for the lot. 1 was VERY old and nasty looking.... it goes on the wall for decor. Other 2 seem to be just fine. Came with a few 22oz fat tire bottles and some old nasty caps. I tested it and it caped the bottles just fine.

I plan to use this set up for my skeeter Pee.... will buy NEW clean caps of course.
