Simple answer to simple question, please

My question is: can I use a standard electric "char-broil" type spark igniter with BG14 HP burners? Every search I do results in posts about pilots and Honeywell this, that, and the other. I am not automating or anything. I just want to be able to light my burners without having to drill holes in my windscreens in order to stick a lighter through it.

Sure, guessing you mean the piezoelectric ones? Still might have to drill a hole to mount the electrode and maybe the striker though.
