I always end up with ideas on what to do at the last minute and can't decide if it's what I should do, but don't think it's worth starting a new thread to ask. So I thought it would be a good idea for a thread where you can just ask off you should do something and get some feedback.

You aren't required to give an answer to post a question. It may help you with Ann idea you had though.

For instance: right now I have two such ideas.
1. Add a small about of cedar spiral to my American sour I have sitting (made with 3203). I was thinking maybe a quarter spiral for the remainder of time in the carboy (about 3 weeks).
2. Found an ounce of light toast American oak, thinking of adding it to my barley wine with brett. That or maybe the dark toast oak I have sitting in red wine.

Thoughts?

You started a new thread.
To me, a good beer is planned, not a last minute let's throw this in.

The idea would be that this thread is open to anyone posting their ideas.
