Short head time, I think .... maybe not.

I put on a Festa Brew kit wednesday evening. By thursday morning it had developed a very good head. This morning(friday) the head has thinned out considerably. Is this normal?

The kit is a brown ale and is sitting at room temp. I have not taken an sg reading. I will wait another day or two for that.

The head is kreusen.

Go ahead and take a gravity reading if you want. If it's dropped around 75% from the OG then it's time to rack to the secondary.

Example: OG: 1.050 (or .50) / 4 = .125 (or 1.012).
