I saw a note on another board from a person that bought a blem chiller. He stated that he could not see anything at all wrong with the item. I am expecting a scratch or mis-ailigned label.

Either way, it could look like it was thrown through a wood chipper, if I get chilled wort at the rate of a non-blem shirron, I am more than happy.

Just one last comment if anyone is curious. I received my chiller yesterday (3 days from buy it now...wow that was fast). I dare anyone to find anything on this to make it qualify as a blem. It is perfect!

Received mine today and I can actually tell why it's a "blem". The copper that overhangs the bottom is bent in slightly. Of course, it ain't nothing a pair of pliers can correct. All in all an awesome deal.

Watch your fingers/hands on those things. Every time I use mine I slice my hand up pretty good. I need to get a hammer to it and pound down those sharp edges.

Hmmm... maybe it was trying to tell me something. Thanks for the heads up Dude. Perhaps I'll just bend them in instead of bending them back out.

I just got mine as well and this explains the slice that showed up on my finger this morning.. oopps. Mine looks exactly like I would expect one to if I bought it for full price. Can't wait to try it out.
