I had some leftover milled grains from my last brew that I immediately put in one of those foodsaver airlock bags and stored in a cabinet. How long will milled grains stay usable in that state?
Thanks, Mike

You're going to get a wide range of answers to this question. I can say that last spring I brewed 2 all grain kits I bought (pre crushed) about 5 - 6 years ago and were in plastic, twist tied bags. Not the best beer I ever made, but they weren't the worst either. We buy pre crushed grain all the time without thinking about it. It's called flour.
