First try at brewing a session IPA. Read a lot to get ideas. This is what I end up with:

5 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM)
3 lbs Pale Malt, Maris Otter (3.0 SRM)
8.0 oz Caramalt (Thomas Fawcett) (15.0 SRM)
8.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM)
4.0 oz Aromatic Malt (26.0 SRM)
0.50 oz Warrior [15.00 %] - First Wort Hop
0.50 oz Amarillo [9.20 %] - Boil 15.0 min
0.50 oz Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 10.0 min
0.50 oz Amarillo [9.20 %] - Boil 5.0 min
1.00 oz Amarillo [9.20 %] - Steep/Whirlpool 20.0 min
1.00 oz Chinook [13.00 %] - Steep/Whirlpool 20.0 min
2.00 oz Chinook [13.00 %] - Dry Hop 6.0 Days
1.00 oz Amarillo [9.20 %] - Dry Hop 6.0 Days
Yeast White lab WLP001
Mashed at 154f, end up with 5.5 gallons in the fermenter OG was 1.040. Hoping to get it down to 1.010 and this should give me a ~4% ABV. Here's what it look like in the test tube. Really happy with the color.

Recipe looks pretty good to me. maybe a touch too much Crystal for my liking, but fine anyhow.

Kegged last week, on gas in the basement (68F) for 3 days @ 20psi, in the keezer Monday, just add gelatin in the keg and pour half a glass before... gonna be a tasty beverage me think!

First pint out of it, carbonation is right on, taste is really "refreshing", nice note of grapefruit, bitter is there but not too aggressive... this one is a keeper!

looks good. what was your FG? My session ipas have been over attenuating (mashing @ 156).

1.010 right on the bun. The beer is also clearer than the pic show up!
