I made a Dunkelweis and I keep tasting a sesame flavor. My spouse does not taste that and thinks I'm bonkers. Is this possible and if so, what would cause that kind of flavor? I thought it might be oxidation as my nee tubing was not a good fit and blah blah blah.

Here is my recipe:
5# Dark Wheat
4.5# Munich
.25# Carafa II
.25# Melanoiden

.5oz Mt Hood @60min

WLP300 Hefe I
66-68 degrees for 14 days

I'd say that it's possible that you ARE bonkers. Doesn't matter anyway...... assuming your spouse is female, you are automatically wrong AND bonkers.
