Hi,

I’ve heard that some breweries use separate oat milk in their neipas. Has anyone heard of this? Maybe it’s DIY oat milk maybe not. Dont know but the question is what’s the benefit of doing this and whats the difference between mashing them in? And do we talk about steeping more than separate oat milk?

Any thoughts?

Thx!

Shades of Hazy O.

Color me curious. I've brewed an imperial crapton of New England IPAs that used either malted or flaked oats. Is the proposition to use "oat milk" in lieu of using actual oats (malted or rolled/flaked)?

Cheers!
