Hi All,
How long can a high gravity ale remain in the secondary before I should be concerned that there won't be enough yeast in suspension to carbonate in a bottle?

Don't worry about it. There will always be yeast suspended in the secondary. Even when it appears perfectly clear. A high gravity beer 1.060 and above, 3-4 weeks is minimum.

Short of sub-micron filtering, you can't get all of the yeast out. So a long, long time.

My beastII was in the secondary for about four months. No problems. In fact I will try one tonight and attempt to remember to get back to you!
