I have read that a plastic better bottle may not be the best choice to use for secondary due to oxygen permeability. However, I do not like the idea of how fragile a glass carboy can be. Does using Better bottles for secondary cause poor tasting beer?

Thanks

I don't own one, but I know a lot of people on here use them that are far more experienced than me. I highly doubt it will affect the taste of your beer. I use glass carboys and its only because.....its all I can find in my LHBS, haha. But as far as what I have heard, the only difference between the two is that glass is heavier and less durable to falls and whatnot. Otherwise, either will work just as good as the other. Try one out and see what you think.
