Do you think its ok to use the trub/yeast as a starter for my new batch? Its an Ardennese yeast from secondaryfermenter. there is about 1/2 inch of trub on the bottom. Would this be enough yeast to do it?

It should be enough. Just aerate the wort, so the yeast can "bulk up" a bit before switching back to alcohol production.

Some may argue that the yeast in secondary isn't the best to use as it is the least flocculant. In other words the least to do the job you want. Also the yeast has by then absorbed or changed the off products it produced while fermentation was going on. This may or may not ( depending on who you ask ) affect the profile of the yeast the second time around.
