So ive recently made a move to stop doing secondary fermentations ever since a nice aromatic beer lost all its aroma. Im re-making a brown ale that i want to hang out with some toasted coconut and cacao nibs. Ive done this same beer many moons ago in the secondary fermenter. Could i just throw these ingredients into the primary after reaching my FG or should infusions like this be done in a secondary fermenter?

It will work just as well if you leave it where it is. That is unless you plan on leaving it for an extended period. More than a month or so.

Oh I just saw this was a hell of an old post. ooops
