Scratches in fermentor

Just noticed some scratches in the walls of my plastic bucket style fermentor. How much does this raise the risk of infection? should i just toss it and replace or continue to use? burnt a hole in my grain bag so i'm going to the LHBS anyhow. never had any major infection issues.

From what I read, this absolutely raises the risk of infection. Given the low cost of buckets, I would personally replace it.
