Kinda went about starting to save yeast backwards, I leapt before I looked. I finished a bohemian pils a couple weeks back and rather than wash it I just stuck what was left in the fermenter into a couple jars and called it quits with plans of washing later. Was this just completely pointless? Im guessing I could still wash it but I don't know if storing it with the trub and all for the past couple weeks was dumb. On the other hand, the batch is still lagering so maybe I can grab what's left in the carboy in a few weeks. My intention is to keg this then start another lager of some sort with the same yeast shortly after. Thanks. I'll do this the right way and wash the yeast as comes out of the fermenter next time.
