The Sasquatch Brew Festival Homebrew Competition

The Sasquatch Brew Festival Homebrew Competition is a local competition made possible with the sponsorship of NW Legends, and the generosity and hard work of the Cascade Brewers Society. It is also sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association recognizing the most outstanding homebrewed beer being produced by amateur brewers.

Entrants from Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and Montana are welcome to enter. To enter you must send in an entry form, $7 and three bottles of your beer for the first entry, and $6 and three bottles for each additional entry. You will receive a score sheet with an evaluation of each entry. Deadline for entries is May 22, 2009. Judging will take place on May 30, 2009 in Eugene, Oregon. Winner will be announced at the Sasquatch Brew Festival on June 6, 2009.
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of each of the following categories and their sub categories.
• Category 8: English Pale Ale
• Category 10: American Ale
• Category 14: IPA
• Category 18: Belgian Strong Ale
• Category 19: Strong Ale
• As well as the “Glen tribute Beer”
The idea of the “Glen Tribute Beer” is to brew a beer that Glen might have brewed and most certainly would have enjoyed.

Yea, that's the big reason we wanted to get this notice out sooner the better, to allow folks to brew up big ol bad ass Glen Beer.
Best of luck to everyone that enters.
The website is being updated now, so keep checking back for info.
