Quick question, I'm using StarSan to sanitize my bottles. What I was doing was dunking them in a bucket filled with water and sanitizer and then making the mistake of rinsing them out. I know now it's a no-rinse.

So my question is once I dunk the bottle in the bucket, there is a considerable amount of bubbles that are inside the bottles. Is this OK to let sit for a minute or so and then fill with beer (while there are bubbles in the bottles)? I guess I just have a fear the sanitizer bubbles will mess with the taste or something. I'm not sure, I don't know enough about it.

Thanks!

New Acronym: DFTF ( Don't Fear The Foam ).

I love the little Star San volcano I get when I am filling my carboy.

Follow the directions for mixing the sanitizer with water and you are OK. If you put extra, it is no longer "rinse free". Too little and it does not sanitize. I don't pay attention to foam anymore. I rack on top of it. I bottle on top of it.
