I have a 5 gallon AG setup. I am content with it for now.
5 gal igloo HLT
5 gal igloo Mash Tun
8 gal brew kettle. Propane burner

my neighbor just gave me 1 sanke keg.
eventually I will get 2 more but not in the near future.

In your opinion What is the most practical conversion for it? Sticking with 5 gal brews right now due to budget issues.

Keggle, mash tun, or HLT

I'm thinking keggle but want opinions
Thanks

Kettle. Make the 8 gal your HLT. then, if you want to make a 10 gallon batch you can mash in both coolers at the same time.

But really there is not much difference in design between the three, so just cut it, install some fittings and see what works best.

Actually I would take the spear out and use it as a fermenter!! You could always double batch and fill it. The nice part is that it doesn't require any modifications.
