i'm going to be getting home late on kegging day and was wanting to get the keg pre-sanitized so its ready to go and all i have to do is pop the top and siphon the brew in.

that said, any tips for sanitizing days prior to using the keg? do i just sanitize as normal and then button her up or is there something special i should do to ensure no buggies get in?

Some people keep the sanitizer in the keg, some don't. (I usually do then transfer the sanitizer out to the next keg to be sanitized, then fill the first keg with beer).

Some people shoot a bit a bit of pressure in to keep it sealed during the wait time. I don't, but I probably would if I've already removed the sanitizer. (at least on the one keg that only seals under pressure. The rest seal without this.)
