For a saison style beer.......is there any need to rack to a secondary fermenter or can I just do 2 weeks primary, 4-6 weeks bottle condition? Thinking that because saison by nature is cloudy that a secondary fermentation is not necessary but wondering what others do with this style of beer.

I don't think you need to...but I never use a secondary....

Here's my version of azscoob's cottage house saison....3 weeks primary at room temp (low 70's) and a couple of days cold crash...this is at 2 weeks in the bottle. It's a great beer (at least I think so!)
Hope this helps

I don't have a lot of experience with saisons. Have brewed only three petite saisons with WY3711. I do three weeks in the primary and the beer pours crystal clear unless I add the yeast from the bottle.
