A shower/mist of rotten beer came blasting out at me and all over the basement. Apparently the keg warmed up enough to build some pressure. While I was bent over the top of it working out the ring, I pressed on the ball and it blew straight up! This stuff has been in there for YEARS.
Blah... after a shower and some PBW... I got it cleaned up.
