Rope size?

What is the ideal rope thickness for the hops to grow?

I was either thinking 1/4in or 1/2in.

Amazon looks expensive for rope.

Any will work. 1/4'' would be adequate. I probably also would just buy sisal and save some money. I'm not sure the manila would last any longer.
