I bought these a while back, and I forgot exactly what I bought. I know it's triticale, but does this look like flaked or rolled, and does it matter? Do I need to do a cereal mash? I know I don't with the stuff I get from the HBS, but I got these from a grocery store, and I'm not sure if that makes a difference. I know flaked stuff is pre gelatinized, but Im finding some conflicting ideas about rolled. Anyone know?

Looks like steam-rolled corn - which I think is the same as flaked wrt mashing.
Needs enzymes - won't convert on its own - but you don't need to use a separate cereal mash...

Cheers!
