Roasted barley 300L

I am brewin one of Jamils recipes for an Irish red ale. The recipe calls for roasted barley 300L, The place I order through (I live in ALASKA) only has roasted barley 500-600L. Can I use this and just cut the amount in half or something?

How much does the recipe call for?

I wouldn't lower it, at that small of an addition you really won't notice the difference between the 300L and the 500-600L. I am assuming this is for a 5gal batch.

yes it is for a 5 gallon batch. I will use what the recipe calls for if you think that is the route to go

Just to make sure I did a color test since it is a Irish Red, just used my brewing program, and there wasn't a real noticeable color difference with that small amount.
