Rice Syrup Solids as an Adjunct

I am going to use Rice Syrup Solids as an Adjunct for my very first
batch of GF Beer. Two quick questions. Does one pound of
Rice Syrup Solids Equal one pound of Rice Syrup?
Secondly, I plan on using maybe 3.5 lbs may 4 lbs of the Rice Syrup Solids.
Is this too much?
