Where do people buy their rice hulls? Is there anything that people use as alternates?

I'm preparing to brew my first Edwort's Heffe soon. Thanks for the info!

I've always purchased mine at the homebrew store. If you don't have them you should be OK as long as you sparge carefully, some people don't use them at all and they're just fine without.

I just bought a pound at my LHBS but ended up not using them. We have a homemade copper manifold for sparging and have not had any issues with it getting stuck. Maybe it'd be more useful with a different setup?

I have a braid, have 2 AG batches under my belt (oatmeal stout and Edwort APA), and havn't had a stuck spare yet. From what I've read, though, wheat seems to get stuck more than barley. I'll probably stop by Ithaca Brewery and see if they sell rice hulls before I brew, but I might just go it without them.
