Planted 5 rhizomes about 4 years ago (1 Nugget, 1 Fuggles, 1 Sterling, 2 Hood). All sprouted and all but the Nugget are still going strong. Guess this past New England Winter was too much for the Nugget. I got some more this year but late and just planted about 11 days ago.........went about 2 inches deep with all (2 Cascade, 2 Willamette, 2 Centennial). No signs of life yet. Will be curious to see which variety emerges first.
