I have this nice little 3 gallon stainless "keg" that I want to convert to a real beer keg. Trouble is it has all FPT connections and no SAE threaded posts. I have both Corny (19/32) and Firestone(5/8) ball locks that I could put on from some old kegs I ruined with bleach years back..... But I'm having no luck finding stainless adapters to go from either 3/8 FPT or 1/4 FPT (Keg has both size holes) to 19/32-18 or 5/8-18.....

Anybody got an idea?

Get a pipe thread to 1/4" mfl adapter. After that you can get the adapters to screw on standard ball lock posts.

Thanks Stevo...I had not found those. Appreciate it...they will work I think.

It worked. I don't remember exactly what I had to do but it took a few pieces to go from one thread to the other and some of the posts are quite high now. The "keg" had 4 openings....one became pressure relief, one is capped off and of course the other two are used.
