Imagine if you will, a buffoon. Someone who installed one of these:
https://www.morebeer.com/products/d...OlK2yYPdu6ncU9YXOG9oEX2zTm1M4MogaAgBfEALw_wcBBut installed it rotated 180 degrees from how it should have been installed, given how it'll sit in his keezer.

Problem: I can't get the damn thing back out. I can remove the screws holding it in place. But then it's stuck in there like a mofo. Anyone have a trick? Or do I just have to live with this evidence of my idiocy for the rest of time?

Did you try this

What is it installed in?

This post was a while ago but I had the same problem removing the regular gauge from the spunding valve. The image above is what works, you have to remove the bolts from the device itself but keep them halfway screwed in to the gauge and use the bolts to pull it out.

Likewise same problem but the halfway screwed-in didn't work for me when pulling them up. I wanted to rotate the gauges. I made a pulling tool with a paperclip and each end I used pliers to bend the paperclip tips 90 degrees such that it would hook in the gauge plate holes. Each bend was an opposite direction to hook on each side. I used a small screwdriver to rotate the plate a bit so it would catch. Each one of six came out -- some took a little patience but came out. I hope this helps someone else.
