Regulators, manifolds, help?

I have a dream to turn my spare full size fridge into a kegerator. I plan to have 3 taps (already bought the intertaps) with 3 soda kegs and would like to run them off of one 10lb co2 tank.
I bought a 3 way regulator thinking that makes the most sense, what’s the benefit of a manifold? Is it necessary?
I’m new to all of this, I’m assuming I’d go from the main co2 regulator to the 3 way regulator to the kegs? Does that sound right?

Manifolds are cool as it allows you to run 3 kegs at the same time . However with a secondary regulator you can run 3 kegs at different psi if you want. I have one and I can force carb 1 keg while the other 2 are at serving psi.

Yes you are correct from your co2 regulator to the manifold then to each keg

So would it be ok to just go from co2 regulator to 3 way co2 secondary regulator to the kegs or does the manifold have to be in there somewhere?

You will run a hose from your co2 tank regulator to that end piece on the secondary regulator you bought . That secondary regulator should be set up inside your kegerator . Then you will have 3 hoses coming off the secondary regulator to your kegs. You dont need a manifold. That thing is basically a manifold with psi control.
