Regulator question

Hi, I am hoping someone with a keg system can help me. when the gas line to the corny is hooked to gas and the tank and reg are on will it dispense gas without it being hooked up to the corny? The reason I ask is I have a regulator that has 5 ports for air but no shut offs.

Any help would be appriciated

no it wont push gas unless its attached to a post
