So I picked up fridge and my little space heater (awaiting on ebaytemp controller to arrive).

For the space heater, how should I run the cable, I assume just closing the door on the cable is what everyone does? If i do this door still closes solidly, but a little bump where cable comes out from heater of course.

I figured that it would be find, didn't know if other folks were drilling holes to feed through and all.

I just run my heater power cord and the temp sensor wire into my chest freezer and close the door over them. The gasket seals pretty well with a very small gap. No drilling of any hole.

If I were still using it as a freezer, I wouldn't want the little gap that is created by doing that. For a fermentation chamber - no sweat.
