Is there an optimal time to put a bottle in the fridge before drinking it? My first batch has been bottle conditioning for almost 6 days now and I put one on the fridge this morning and it will be in there for about 9 hours before I drink it. The only reason I'm doing this is because I want to see how flavors change as time goes on. Is 9 hours enough time for the beer to clear up a bit?

It wont have time to clear up appreciably. It should be cold though. I'd put a six pack in and have one tonight, then one tomorrow or in a couple nights, and on and on... see how things change.

No, it won't clear in just 9 hours. It also probably won't be done bottle conditioning in only 6 days.
